Allison Whiting, Founder of Intent
Allison grew up in Farmington, Michigan, born into a family of educators. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at Eastern Michigan University and continued on for a master’s program in Organizational Design at the University of Michigan. While Allison was intuitively attracted to business and organizational strategy in her studies, she has a unique talent for leveraging academic training with her natural ability as a facilitator and coach.
Allison is trained in conventional practices like “the Five Lean Principles”, and is a certified partner for Wiley Technologies’ Authorized 5 Behaviors® and DISC®. With over 2 decades of employing these classic methodologies Allison has been able to expand into customized design. Allison takes a “meet you where you are” approach by interpreting, diagnosing, and developing tailored programs unique to any business type, size and leadership style.
Allison has dedicated her more than 20-year professional career to improving corporate culture across all sizes of organizations and all types of industries. She has supported companies through mergers and acquisitions by building strong, cohesive teams aligned with purpose, and has partnered with several “Great Place to Work” companies to build award-winning cultures.
